MLSE Change the Game Volleyball Tournament
To cap off another successful summer of wellness and movement, revibe sponsored MLSE Foundation’s Change the Game Volleyball Tournament to raise funds for their initiative this past weekend.
A handful of our team, slathered in sunscreen and armed with their treatment tables, set up courtside to enjoy a day in the sun providing services to players in attendance for some pre-game care and post-game recovery.
Among the expansive beach courts at Ballsports located on Polson Pier in Downtown Toronto, players had a designated area to work with our physiotherapist, massage therapist and athletic therapist to help set them up for success.
Our team also set up a mobile recovery lounge with our Normatec compression boots for the attending athletes to kick back and watch some games from the sidelines while the boots helped promote blood flow and reduce inflammation after a long day of activity.
About MLSE Foundation’s Change the Game Campaign
MLSE Foundation is an organization built on the belief that sport has the power to change the world. The campaign is dedicated to raising awareness and funds in an effort to address systemic barriers preventing youth from reaching their full potential. Since their inception in 2009, MLSE Foundation has invested more than $45 million into Ontario communities.
They empower the young athletes they work with to take back the power and write their own stories by leveling the playing field and offer opportunities both on and off the field.
“Our hope is that if we all play a role in changing the game, then every kid will have a fair chance to write their own story,” as eloquently written on MLSE’s website.
